DJ Deadly Nite Shade (DNS) first had an interest in music when she was at the age of 11, listening to her parents’ collection of vinyl. At 15 she acted on her interest in music and purchased her first pair of Technics 1210's and began mixing at home with the family as an audience. Since then DNS began to shine on the decks with her mixing skills and took bookings for sets at numerous private functions including weddings. She then hooked up with the Cut Master Swift award winner in 1989 and gained a certificate in Hardcore Turntabalism.

The first real break in the music industry was in 2005 when her talent was spotted by the Jackal and then teamed up with the Hypnotize Crew, and has been with them ever since. She now plays regularly up and down the country in clubs, for private functions and even does guest appearance sets on radio. Not only a DJ but this up coming artist has been singing since the age of 12. At 15 DNS first took up vocal training and has been taking classes ever since. She has now begun to incorporate her own influences into her music which goes right back to the 1990's Old Skool RnB.

This talented young lady is sure to make her mark in the urban music scene as she is currently in the process of releasing tracks on the Nite Jackal label.
